Operations Specialists

Wexford Operations Specialists are experts in military operations and planning, generally with at least ten years of military experience and recent deployments engaged in combat operations. Most have Army backgrounds but several served in the Marine Corps, the Navy, the Air Force or Coast Guard. Many continue to serve as members of the National Guard or Reserves. They are widely gauged experts, demonstrating multi-disciplinary qualifications in planning, tactics, and operations. A current TS/SCI security clearance is highly desirable.

Operations Integrator, SOFST (Reston, VA)

As a SOF Operations Integrator, you will provide embedded and reach back support directly to SOF, developing processes that enhance SOF situational understanding of threat networks employing or facilitating improvised threats (such as IEDs) and enabling DOD, IA and IC efforts focused on dismantling, disrupting, and defeating those networks. You will interact directly with the warfighter during the development of intelligence products while coordinating the support packages provided to meet unit and subordinate element operational requirements. You will assist in fusing the operational and intelligence information available to the supported unit while providing an operational perspective to the products, which include target and network analysis packages.

J3 Special Operations Analyst (Bahrain)

As a Naval Special Warfare Operations (J3) Analyst, you will focus on problem sets at the tactical through operational levels while applying a thorough understanding of the ops/intelligence fusion process. As a Joint Expeditionary Team (JET) Member, you will provide embedded support to tactical units conducting ground operations primarily in the CENTCOM AOR. You will observe and report on best practices, emerging enemy TTPs, and friendly capability gaps associated with improvised threats such as Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS).

Sensitive Activities Planner/Compartmented Capabilities Integrator (Multiple locations)

As a Sensitive Activities Planner/Compartmented Capabilities Integrator, you will support the Department of Defense and its efforts to identify and neutralize enemy threat networks capable of employing improvised threats, such as Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), and other improvised weapons of strategic effect.

 

Senior SOF Advisor (Reston, VA)

As a Senior SOF Advisor, you will provide subject matter advice to senior government and military SOF commanders and deputies on counter improvised threats and their impacts on SOF operations and plans. Provide advice to senior officials on national strategic and operational SOF policies, procedures, processes, and authorities related to each of the geographical combatant commands.  Prepare, plan and conduct senior leader engagements with SOF commanders globally.  Assist in developing processes that enhance SOF situational understanding of threat networks employing or facilitating improvised threats (such as IEDs) and enabling DOD, IA and IC efforts focused on dismantling, disrupting, and defeating those networks.
